Bobby Ventura is a guitarist and drummer from Brooklyn, NY and has lived in the Poconos for 20 years. He started the popular trio Dirtwater Dogs in the area in 1999 and played all over the Poconos and beyond. Before that, he was in the original band Idle Chatter in NY and drummer for Black Cat Crossing with members of RIOT and Slider. During the 80's and through 2005, Bobby was tour manager/production manager for Bo Diddley, Ronnie Wood, Jack Bruce, Paul Rodgers, The New Sam and Dave review, Midge Ure and Katie Melua. He is also listed on Joan Osborne's first live CD "Soul Show" as live sound engineer. Lately, he has been working acoustically solo and with Liquid Smoke and Bayou Risin, a CCR/John Fogerty Tribute act.
